Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. The most famous of her characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," an American comedy show. While she is a performer, her primary passion is music. She says that music is always been her primary obsession. When she was 12, she had taken music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. When she was 13 She began to write her own music. The album that she first released was released 14 years after. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia was born in America, has Hispanic ancestry. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic roots. She endeavours to maintain it through becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut season of The X Factor. Orrantia got selected as a result of a YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" vote from judges in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but in "Hollywood week" she was placed with three other female vocalists to form a trio during the remainder of the auditions. The live shows were held in the 5th week.
