Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. When she was an assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office start worldwide. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
